Mumtaza Chairannisa
Mumtaza Chairannisa is a Research Intern at AMECRD. Her work explores the intersections of maritime history, heritage and transnational networks of religion, politics, and trade across Southeast Asia as well as the Indian Ocean, with a particular focus on the Early Modern period. She holds bachelor’s degrees from Sciences Po Paris and the University of California at Berkeley, as well as an MPhil from the University of Cambridge.
