Rabiatul Adawiyah Yusoff (Ruby) is a postgraduate student at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Postcolonial Literature in English. Her study focuses on memoirs by Malaysian female freedom fighters and their cultural identity. She has been involved in Malaysia's women’s movement and civil society for more than ten years. Aside from that, she also works as an educator in English and literature in Kuala Lumpur. She runs a social media account on Instagram, @bukuruby, where she discusses books of different genres, including literature, history, politics, and gender.
