Partnering with Diverse Sectors for Inclusive Conversations
stratsea is an online platform that showcases analyses and insights by Southeast Asian experts and professionals. Our contributors hail from different countries in Southeast Asia and they offer localised assessments on global, regional and national issues that impact the region.
In doing so, we provide quality analyses from Eastern lenses that enrich conversations about the region and its people. We cover a wide range of themes, including education, environment, mental health, politics, renewable energy and violent extremism, among others.
Therefore, this platform strives to:

Facilitate whole-of-society conversations

Provide greater sensing of the region

Aid discussions in tertiary institutions
Since its inception in 2020, stratsea has worked closely with all sectors including businesses and civil society organisations
This enables us to elevate important issues while ensuring equal representation from each sector (i.e. whole-of-society). To better highlight causes advocated by our partner organisations, we have a dedicated category in addition to our thematic categories. To highlight diverse causes, we regularly seek new partner organisations based in Southeast Asia.
As we work closely with our community of content contributors, we fervently aim to provide greater sensing of Southeast Asia for those residing both within and outside the region. This has elevated the profiles of our content contributors by actively seeking republication of their original contents on other established media, such as The Jakarta Post and the Malay Mail.
Aligned with stratsea’s expansion, we would continue to translate the original articles of our contributors from either Bahasa Indonesia or Bahasa Melayu to English
Notably, in appreciating our mission to present Eastern perspectives, stratsea has worked closely with tertiary institutions in the region to deepen classroom discussions.
