Don McLain Gill

Don McLain Gill is a Filipino geopolitical analyst, author, and lecturer at the Department of International Studies, De La Salle University (DLSU). He is also an Indo-Pacific Research Fellow at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and a non-resident fellow at the Stratbase ADR Institute. He is an advisory board member of the We Protect our Seas (WPS) Foundation, the lead convenor of the annual Manila Dialogue on the South China Sea.

 

He specialises in Philippine foreign policy, maritime security, India-Southeast Asian relations and Indo-Pacific geopolitics. He has written extensively in the form of books, book chapters, peer-reviewed international journal articles, newspaper columns and commentary/analysis articles for major international affairs publishers. He is also regularly interviewed by international news tv channels and newspapers.
